First time visiting but we will definitely stop the next time we are in Milwaukee. An amazing place with outstanding food. My husband and I split a burger and the bratwurst along with cheese curds. It was absolutely delicious.
Came in here yesterday for lunch. I'm from out of town and heard great things about this place so I decided to stop in. I was immediately welcomed in and treated like family. I mentioned I was from California and they surely made me feel right at home...
This is old school Milwaukee. IMHO do not go here for anything but the burger, fries and malt/shake. I'm sure everything else is fine but those are what this place is known for. Also, do not plan on eating anything else for the rest of the day if your are eating here...
Just enjoyed a Cheesehead burger at Solly's for Father's Day...Sarah The waitress made us feel welcome and provided incredibly great service... The burger is extremely filling... but the best burger I may have ever had in my life! This place is still amazing!
Solly's is a Milwaukee institution. The butter burgers are truly fantastic. I have read some of the other reviews and am surprised by them. The best shake is the Hot Fudge shake! Yes they take Hot Fudge and make it into a shake! The burgers are tasty and super buttery, what says Wisconsin more than butter, cheese and meat?..
